The LD2-10/320 protective device protect outdoor LED lightings against transitory overvoltages. They are also suitable to protect indoor installations.
LD2-10 / 320 protective device is designed in accordance with IEC 61643-11 and UL 1449 4 standards. It is characterized by its compact design, rapid-response to transient overvoltages and its great waterproof rating IP66.
These devices must be installed as close as possible to the loads to be protected and always be connected to earth. A green LED light is available to check the status of the device.

These installations might be affected by overvoltages in two ways: As a result of lightning impacts directly on the power lines that supply the lights or through the induced currents on the power cables at the moment that a lightning strikes areas nearby the lights.
