15 Jan Permanent and transient overvoltage protective set

The POP series devices are in accompliance with the European standard EN: 50550. This standard is applied to permanent surge protective devices in 230V AC and 50 Hz domestic installations between phases and neutral terminal.
At the moment a permanent overvoltage occurs, these protective devices will obligate the cut-off element added to itself to disconnect the installation from the electrical network. Therefore, the electrical devices installed downstream the POP won’t be affected by the overvoltage.
Hereunder the requirements of the EN: 50550 standard and our protectice device meets are the following:

- The POP and the Magnetothermal Circuit Breaker must be the same.
- Can not generate a voltage in the protective conductor.
- Leakage currents must not be created to activate the main switch.
